The Vancouver Foodster Chefs Signature Dishes Festival featured 15 restaurants from all over the city who’s chefs created a must try signature dish to enter in this Chefs Signature Dishes Festival. The Chefs creation could be simple to fancy, using unique and innovative ingredients., be as nutritious or indulgent as he/she wants, and to be imaginative. The idea was that the dish they created was within the type of food and cuisine the restaurant specializes, and the signature dish pushed the boundaries in creativity. The public tasted and voted for the dishes from September 6-30, 2013.

2nd Place: Ten Ten Tapas
Chef Nourdine Majdoubi with his Moroccan Braised Lamb with 25 Spices Mulled wine poached pear stuffed with Gruyere cheese and walnuts, glazed apricots, glazed prunes, caramelized figs and 25 spice jus.

Thank you to all the chefs and restaurants who participated and featured their Signature dish creation on the menu during the dishes festival. This was a terrific opportunity for the restaurants to showcase their chefs and for the chefs to showcase their talents and creativity.
