Fanny Bay Oyster Bar & Shellfish Market Reopening Party

It was a fantastic affair last week as the owners hosted media along with many of their customers including chefs for a night of delicious imbibing. For those that wanted to drink to celebrate they featured a selection of cocktails, wine and beer. They also featured all sorts of their popular dishes, a wide selection of Oysters from the Raw Bar, Prawn cocktail and more.

Executive Chef Tommy Shorthouse and his kitchen team served up delicious tasters of the various dishes. Malindi Taylor and her father spoke (owners) and welcomed all who were in attendance.

My favourite bites were the Salmon Carpaccio on toast, Scallop Aguachile, Tuna Tartare tacos, Blackened snapper sliders, Mini Fish & Chips and Tuna cones.

The restaurant now boasts seating for 100 people inside, a full bar as well as a private room for large private dinners, meetings or office gatherings.

Fanny Bay Oyster Bar & Shellfish Market has reopened at 762 Cambie Street in downtown Vancouver.
