CocoaNymph held an all-day opening party yesterday to launch their 2nd location on the East side, for Chocolate lovers to unite.
I visited and toured the café and the new space, musicians were entertaining guests in the café, while people where indulging in drinking chocolate and more!
Guests were able to watch a chocolate demonstration, Lemon Ganache squares were enrobed in chocolate! As well there was a Wine and Chocolate Pairing that people could join for only $5 which got them a glass of wine and some of their Illa chocolates.
Owner and Chocolatiere Rachel Sawatzky was on hand to great everyone along with her business partner. The production facility had grown from a tiny 120 square foot kitchen to 1200 square feet of chocolatey goodness in their new East Van home that is bright and open.
In addition to the sinful selection of sweets, the new location will have a brunch and lunch menu featuring stuffed French toast, daily soups, and panini made from local charcuterie and cheeses.
