Dine Italia Winemakers Dinner

On November 28th, I attended Dine Italia featuring a special menu created by Chef Romy Prasad at Federicos, paired with wines from Italy.

This dinner was the last dinner that the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vancouver hosted in November to celebrate food and wine from five regions around Italy.

Porcini Mushrooms on croistini

During the reception they served Porcini Mushrooms on croistini with fresh herbs, demi-glace and Montasio cheese that was paired with Di Lenardo Pinot Grigio.

Following the dinner the house band played and guests packed the dance floor.
