During the weekend of July 14-16, 2023 I enjoyed countless hours listening to music from musicians who performed at the 46th Annual Vancouver Folk Music Festival that was held at Jericho Beach Park. In addition to the music, I enjoyed some tasty food and drink during the festival weekend by trying some of the dishes the food vendors were selling.

I loved the Tofu Dragon Bowl from The Dragon Bowl, this was one of the most popular vendors with a long, quick moving lineup throughout most of the festival. It was also one of the healthiest bowls to be had which is the reason for the long line.

This years festival was one of the best in years; with many new musical discoveries. Highlights include my interview with Blick Bassy from Paris, France along great music by Las Cafeteras,  Jill Barber,  American Beauties,  Tiny Habits, Blick Bassy, and more.

As it was a very hot weekend, ice cold refreshments were in order including this refreshing Watermelon Lemonade.

I very much enjoyed the performance of Las Cafeteras who got everyone up on their feet singing along and dancing on the last night of the festival making for a memorable weekend fest.
