From Lunches to Dinners the Yaletown neighborhood will come alive again at Taste of Yaletown 2013! The 9th Annual Taste of Yaletown event will take place October 16 – 27, 2013.
Suzuki Tempura Bap at Minami
At lunch today I had a chance to preview a couple of the different restaurants who are participating in this years Taste of Yaletown promotion. My favourite dish from the selection that I tried at Minami Yaletown that is being offered at lunch was the Suzuki Tempura Bap which is $15, a big bowl filled with seasonal vegetables, kale gomae, tsukemono, and steamed rice. They also offer a large selection of specially priced dishes for both lunch and dinner.

The other restaurant that I visited was Parlour Yaletown who is also offering a selection of specially priced dishes for both lunch and dinner, my favourites there was the Ahi Tuna Lettuce Wraps and the Gold Member Pizza.
The popular community-based event invites the public to discover and enjoy culinary offerings and delectable wines from 31 of Yaletown’s restaurants, each presenting an exclusive three-course menu at pre-fixed prices of $25, $35 or $45 for dinner as well as specially priced menus for lunch.
Once again, a portion of the profits from each participating restaurant will be donated to The Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
