Tasting Visit to The Emerald Supper Club and Cocktail Lounge

The Emerald Supper Club and Cocktail Lounge is known for its deliciously old-school vibe, I finally had a chance to visit this Chinatown lounge/eatery with its quirky ‘60s décor, focus on authentically spirited cocktails and appetizing eats.

Twinkly Eyed cocktail

I enjoyed the Twinkly Eyed cocktail with the Absolut Elyx Vodka, St. Germain Elderflower and Champagne.

Started off with a selection of canapes that included smoked salmon with cream cheese atop cucumber; veggie skewers; pickled beet served on endive.

Crispy Cauliflower

They served their most popular appetizer which was the Crispy Cauliflower with peanut satay sauce, this was very good.

Ling Cod

For my main, I had the Ling Cod served on a delicious potato waffle served with green beans and lemon beurre blanc

chocolate truffle cake, New York cheese cake and sticky toffee pudding

From the dessert platter, I tried the chocolate truffle cake, New York cheese cake and sticky toffee pudding bite which was my favourite from the selectiom.

Extensive renovations to The Dining Room have given it a private bar and an entrance of its own, making it a separate space. As such, it’s more private than it was previously, and offers room for 74-100 guests to drink, dine, and dance. Its booth seating has also been given a boost, to allow better sight-lines for live shows. A new sound system and projector screen make the audible aspect of your Emerald evening better than ever.

The Emerald offers an array of food options for larger parties as they offer seating for up to 200 guests.

The Emerald Supper Club and Cocktail Lounge is located at 555 Gore Avenue in Chinatown in Vancouver. You can call them at 604.559.8477
