It depends where I’m working- I’ll still make an active effort to head out to the Law Society Offices downtown for the Indian food at Grounds for Appeal. I know that I can dish out some extra bucks and go to a really nice lunch place, but for me lunch is about being fast, cheap, and delicious- all three are definitely covered by the food at Grounds for Appeal!!! Mmmmmm The butter chicken is a standard, but if you’re lucky enough to be there on a day where they have one of their exotic specials, definitely try those out.

(Kathy Ko) My favourite places for lunch are Burgoo Bistro for their grilled cheese sandwiches, Thai Son Vietnamese Restaurant for Seafood Dry Egg Noodle and Milestones at English Bay during the summer.  I miss working downtown and I would choose completely different places for lunch if I eat DT, of course.
