Another season has passed with Summer now in full swing, and here are some delicious Italian dishes by Executive Chef Behshad Zolnasr. Lawrence joined me as we tried several of the new dishes and more.
Started off with the glorious Burrata with grilled Peaches, pickled strawberries, cherries, confit tomatoes, pumpkin seeds
As they make all their bread fresh in-house daily, we had Chef Dianna’s Brioche with caramelized shallot butter.
The Calamari with dill, Lemon Shallot Aioli Was Very Tasty.
The Grilled Octopus with Olives, Confit Tomatoes, Potatoes, Romesco, Aioli, was tender and flavourful.
The Caramelle was delicious with summer corn, pancetta, caccio peppe and pecorino
The Rotolo alla Bolognese is served in a cast iron pan with beef ragu, bechamel and fermented chili oil and it tastes just like a lasagna.
We shared the delicious and juicy 14oz McLeod Farms Ribeye with peppercorn and Demi-glacé on the side.
Honey glazed carrots were tasty.
Truffle fries were crispy and very good.
The Tableside Tiramisu.is a showstopper with espresso, soaked lady fingers, mascarpone cream, liqueur, vanilla and chocolate.
