Spring Menu Tasting at C Prime Modern Italian Steakhouse

Another season has passed with Spring now in full swing, and here are some delicious Italian dishes by Executive Chef Behshad Zolnasr. My longtime friend Debbie was visiting from Toronto and joined me.

1st dish:

Started off with Ahi Tuna Tartar, flavorful dish that came with taro chips.

As they make all their bread fresh in-house daily, we had the Brioche with caramelized onion butter.

2nd dish:

The Mint ricotta & pea basil dippio Raviolio was a glorious new menu addition with a beaur blanc sauce poured tableside.

3rd dish:

Cheese Agnolotti with basil pasta in a Pomodoro sauce with a burrata filling was another stunning new dish.

4th dish:

Risotto Funghi was delicious and is a new dish on the menu.

5th dish:

Steelhead was perfectly cooked on a bed of green pea puree with roasted potatoes.

6th dish:

Chicken breast comes with garlic mash and gravy

Chef Dianna has a created a couple new desserts for the menu which including the outstanding Orange chiffon cake, orange gel, coconut flakes, and coconut clouds; as well as a stunning deconstructed Chocolate mousse with pulled caramel, chocolate soil, chocolate gel , chocolate soil , roasted white chocolate, vanilla anglaise.
