This Japanese focussed eatery is a gem run by passionate chefs featuring a comfort food menu which you will find on the large blackboard as well as the usual printed form. You will find traditional sushi rolls, gyoza, salads, noodle dishes along with some unique finds such as Hawaiian Poke.
I visited for dinner on my own starting off with the refreshing and flavourful Tofu Avocado Salad, this was followed by the Ebi Gyoza ($6.95) homemade Prawn Gyoza with a soy dipping sauce, then the delicious Chicken Karage ($5.95) air fried chicken and Savoury Potato Crisps ($3.50), along with a Miso Soup ($1.75).
Asides from my being on my own and wanting to try a selection of dishes, a feature which is a big draw here is the Momma’s plate where you get to select an entree and a raw item and a side dish to create your own combo meal. You also have the option to choose between brown or sushi rice.
You will find a great selection of vegetarian dishes along with some Japanese desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth!
