Afternoon Tea is an art and should be an extraordinary experience one that you will cherish. Vancouver has some wonderful places for you to indulge in an Afternoon Tea experience. Each of the places is unique in what they offer along with the type of service and selection of sandwiches, pastries and desserts. I am on a journey around the city to find these extraordinary places.

Here is the eighteenth of many places that I have visited recently. I ventured out of the city for this Afternoon Tea experience to Whistler where the Mallard Lounge is located in the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Hotel in Whistler.

To begin the experience our server asked us to choose a tea from their selection, we were then served a Watermelon Shooter to refresh our palate.

A three tiered plate filled with an assortment of sweets and pastries (bottom plate), there was a selection of finger sandwiches on the middle plate and pink scones with strawberries on the top plate.

My thoughts –I loved the Watermelon shooter at the beginning to refresh the palate. I tasted each of the sandwiches and scones, however my favourites of the tiered tray were from the assortment of sweets, being the Chocolate Éclairs.
