Specializing in Venezuelan food owner, Josemarie Tello has created an array of Arepa dishes and flavourful sides at this food truck that is dedicated to serving the Arepa. The Arepa is a gluten-free cornbread sandwich that can be stuffed with a variety of different ingredients.
I have had their Tequenos which are filled with white cheese, popular in their home country; as well as the delicious Sweet Fried Plantains topped with white cheese.
The Pabellon Arepa was my favourite with shredded beef, black beans, sweet fried plantains, grilled white cheese; followed by the Capresa Arepa, a vegetarian specialty with tomato, white cheese and avocado; and then the Sifrina (fancy) Arepa with chunky chicken, avocado salad, white cheese.
Keep your eye out for this South American food truck for delicious Venezuelan flavours around the city.
