7th Annual Best of the West

On August 9, I attended this wonderful event hosted by the Harmony Arts Festival in West Vancouver.  It was another beautiful night on the pier despite the smoky air that blanketed the city from the forest fires many miles outside of the city, guests mingled eating delicious bites from North Shore restaurants and sipped on BC Wine.

Scallop Ceviche

One of my favourite pairings of the night was Chef Ned Bell’s Vancouver Aquarium team’s Scallop Ceviche paired with the Blue Mountain Winery Brut.

Chef Faizal Kassam of Terroir Kitchen
