Enjoyed a delicious dinner a restaurant that I hadn’t dined at in many years. They have just launched their summer menu which gave us a chance to return and try several dishes.
Summer Berry & Beets, this was a stunner with fresh house made paneer, berries, beets and extra virgin olive oil.
Roasted Romanesco with sultanas, tahini and sumac; and we both loved this dish.
Ahi Tuna Tartar, an outstanding must try dish with Yellowfin tuna, chilled cucumber broth, sushi rice cracker, white soy.
Forest Mushroom Casarecce, a very rich pasta dish with charred asparagus, confit king oyster, black truffle mornay sauce.
BC Steelhead Salmon, a nice summery dish with salmon along with Summer vegetables & fingerling potato succotash, heirloom tomato gastrique’.
Miso Glazed Sablefish, melt in your mouth fish with shiitake and green dashi, soba noodles, micro bok choy, edamame.
Chicken Korma, a play on a traditional Indian dish with Maple ridge farms free range chicken, wild bc morels, spring pea biryani, lotus crisp.
