The biggest Latin American festival in the Pacific Northwest takes place on July 5th, 6th & 7th at Jonathan Rogers Park in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood and this year’s festival will feature 17 Latin American countries with over 350 talented artists, arts, food, and more!
The festival will feature an opening night party on July 5 where reggae, salsa, and cumbia rhythms collide, featuring the legendary DJ Gambeat and his vibrant ensemble, La Grooving Familia.
On Saturday July 6 and Sunday July 7 the festival will feature many different food vendors as well as other vendors and a full lineup of chef cooking demos as well as musicians representing all the different countries that make up Latin America. Check out Juan Ignacio Rua as he makes one of his Colombian specialty dishes, he will be on the Culinary stage on the Saturday and Sunday.
