Welcome to the 7th Annual Vancouver Foodster Sundae Challenge. Cafes from all over the city were invited to enter their Sundae creations into this challenge. Each cafe will be featuring their Sundae creations on their menu from August 5-29, 2021.
How Does this all Work? For the public challenge, you are invited to go out and order any or all of the sundae creations in this challenge, then you decide who you think has the best sundae creation for the People’s Choice award winners.
Share your experiences: Tweet (and don’t forget to tweet or instagram your photos) throughout the challenge, our twitter and instagram address is @vanfoodster and the hashtag is #SundaeChallengeYVR please include this hashtag in all your tweets, instagram stories, posts and other social shares during the challenge.
Voting criteria – some things to help you judge your favourite sundae creations – keep these things in mind: originality, creativity, uniqueness, traditional, non-traditional, price, value and most importantly taste.

Get some friends together and make a day or night of it, visit 2 places or more to taste the different sundae creations or go solo or with a friend– just remember to VOTE for your favourite

The Triple Berry Sundae

The Triple Berry Sundae is an explosion of juicy berry flavor that’s sure to infuse the taste of summer in every bite.
Starting your sundae, you’re met with a burst of fresh raspberry gelato, matched with a subtle topping of whipped cream, decadent Itilian Amerena cherry drizzle and an accompaniment of fresh berries. The second layer of strawberry gelato is sweet and creamy, giving a ripe note compared to the tartness of the raspberry gelato. To finish off the sundae, a deep, luscious blackberry gelato captures a fresh summery taste,helping to cleanse the palate and leaving you wanting more!
All of our gelato flavors are made with fresh cream and real strawberries, blackberries and raspberries, with no additional food colorings or flavors.

Pica Mango Sundae

t’s a Mango frozen yogurt topped with fresh mangoes and pineapples that are marinated in Tajin and lime drizzled with a Tamarind Chamoy accompanied by a dried mango covered with dark chocolate.
