Feast of Fields on September 11 at UBC Farm

One of my favourite foodie events of the year is returning after a 2 year hiatus. This year FarmFolk CityFolk’s, Metro Vancouver Feast of Fields fundraiser will be held on Sunday, September 11th at UBC Farm from 1-5pm.

While melodies from local musicians fill the air, guests will meander through the fields with a wine glass and napkin in hand. Enjoy delectable bites from local restaurants and producers, including Jamjar, Whiskey Six BBQ, Fable Kitchen, Drunken Chocolatier, The Stable House Bistro, Gaby & Jules Bakery, H Tasting Lounge, Earnest Ice Cream and more. Delicious sips will be provided by Wize Tea, Siren’s Call Wine, Parkside Brewery, Kindred Cultures, Long Table Distillery, Barnside Brewery, Tealeaves, and others.

Proceeds raised from the event allow FarmFolk CityFolk to develop and operate programs that connect, empower, and inspire people to strengthen BC’s sustainable food systems.

This gourmet wandering harvest festival is Canada’s largest and longest-running local food celebration. Over the past 25 years, FarmFolk CityFolk has hosted 58 Feasts at 40 different farms. Feast of Fields highlights how participating local food and beverage artisans connect to the land, support the regional economy, and create the most delicious local, seasonal, sustainable flavours BC offers.
