I recently attended an intimate guided whisky tasting by Davin de Kergommeaux, the Author of Canadian Whisky, a book recently published by Appetite Randomhouse.
From left to right, we tried his selection of 5 whiskies, #43, then the Crown Royal which I liked followed by the Canadian Club which was made out of 100% rye, so smooth with it’s different flavours; the 4th was the Gibson’s Gold, a Blended whisky; and lastly Lot 40 made of 100% rye.
A selection of charcouterie and sweets were served to enjoy with the whiskies.
