It’s been a few years since I had eaten at The Cascade Room, fast forward to the recently launched fall/winter menu that features some wonderful dishes, hearty and perfect for the season.
Albacore Tuna Tartare with a very spicy gochujang (red sauce).
Beets & Buratta with pear, pickled beers, watercress, honey and white wine gastrique, stunning plating with wonderful flavours.
Confit Duck Risotto with chanterelle mushrooms, pickled cherries and a rocket, this was my favourite dish of the night, delicious.
Arctic Char with spaghetti squash, leeks, and a delicious cauliflower purée
Chocolate & Banana Bread Pudding with maple walnut ice cream and caramelized banana, and this would be great dish to pair up with a shot of whiskey or a warm rum cocktail.
