It has been a couple of years since my last visit to this wonderful Italian restaurant in the heart of Kitsilano. They now offer a selection of new dishes each month, here are some new ones along with some favourites!
Grilled Polenta Cakes with salted cod, loved this dish.
Delicata Squash Salad and a perfect one for the fall season.
Tortellini alla Bolognese -from Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, a delicious house-made pasta dish stuffed with a mix of veal, prosciutto, mortadella and Parmigiano-Reggiano, served in a bowl of warm chicken broth. This is one of their November special features.
Cacio e Pepe Verde with pecorino romano, cracked black pepper, organic arugula; loved the addition of the arugula.
Chorizo Salami & Thyme Honey Pizza with fresh mozzarella, basil, ricotta di bufala; one of my all time favourites here.
Chocolate Budino – a rich and yummy milk chocolate pudding made with eggs and heavy cream.
Olive Oil Cake made with olive oil instead of butter and finished with lemon zest; another of their classics.
