Tree Brewery Dinner at Rogue Kitchen

Tree Brewing Brewmaster Stefan Buhl

I attended this one of a kind dinner at Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar on Tuesday May 10th that featured a variety of beers from Tree Brewing along with their Brewmaster Stefan Buhl.

Rogue Kitchen Chef Cory Chapman

I was fortunate to dine with the team from Tree Brewing and learned much more about the Tree Brewing lineup of beer along with stories about their beer, yeast and hops from Brewmaster Stefan. The dinner was created by Chef Cory Chapman who skilfully paired each of the dishes with each of the beers.

Now on to dinner and the pairings!

First Course:

Spot Prawn & Quinoa Salad

Spot Prawn & Quinoa Salad paired with the Heffeweizen

Second Course:

Pan Roasted Ivory Spring Salmon

Pan Roasted Ivory Spring Salmon paired with the Cutthroat Pale Ale

Third Course:

Sous Vide Pheasant Breast

Sous Vide Pheasant Breast paired with the Double Hophead IPA

Fourth Course:

Sticky Toffee Pudding

Sticky Toffee Pudding paired with the Captivator Dopplebock.

Comments:  All of the beers and courses were well paired, I found the pan roasted ivory spring salmon paired well with the Tree Brewing Cutthroat Pale Ale in the 2nd course and the Sticky Toffee Pudding was perfectly paired with the Captivator Dopplebock in the 4th course.
