Lift Restaurant Tasting

The other day I attended a media tasting at Lift Restaurant to try some of their new menu creations presented by Chef Scott Kid. Lift has one of the most prestine views in the city with a backdrop of Stanley Park and the local mountains sitting above Coal Harbour.

The menu for the dinner featured many of their new items from appetizers to wet plates to entrees.

Here my favourites from the tasting:

Cornmeal Crusted Rainbow Trout

Braised Veal Cheeks

Dynamite Roll in a soy reduction

Alaskan Weathervane Sea Scallop

Seared Ahi Tuna Sashimi

Magret Barbary Duck Breast

Note: The dishes that I tasted were tasting size not regular size as you would order from the menu.
