The inaugural False Creek Crab Fest was a great success featuring fresh BC Dungeness crab, held on July 15 and featured, drinks, music, games, local chefs, fishers & more!
The tasty event was hosted by BC Crab Fishermen’s Association and Mitch’s Catch at False Creek Fishermen’s Wharf!.
Guests enjoyed a delicious crab boil prepared by Chef Vish Mayekar with Chef Robert Clark and Chef Deseree Lo along with live music and a selection of beverages, I went with non-alcoholic option from Sip Sap Sucker beverages.
Each of the crab boil plates featured crab in the shell, corn on the cob, potatoes and a roll.
The chefs had help from their chef friends that included Chef Julian Bond, Johnny Bridge and Quang Dang.
