Breakfast at Tiffany’s in Tokyo

Breakfast at Tiffany’s at The Blue Box Cafe is nestled inside the flagship boutique in Ginza, Tokyo and this was a wonderfully lavish experience. Lawrence and I enjoyed the full experience in the stunning dining room, which was decorated with all things blue including their signature blue boxes adorning the ceiling. The Blue Box Café by Natsuko Shoji transforms the cinematic fantasy of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” into a high-end Tokyo culinary experience. Enveloped in the house’s signature Tiffany Blue hue and styled by architect Peter Marino, the dining space pairs modern luxury with refined Japanese gastronomy created by Shoji. Guests partaking in the multi-course breakfast set enjoy an array of freshly baked brioche and croissants alongside seasonal salads, house-made granola, and light, dashi-infused scrambled eggs served on delicate tea stands.

Equal parts visual spectacle and culinary destination, it offers a sophisticated, photo-worthy morning ritual in the heart of Tokyo’s premier shopping district.

Started off with fresh juices – I had the Veg and Lawrence had the fruit.

Ginza in Season – Kelp dashi broth with Japanese shitake mushrooms was served followed by their beautiful Seasonal salad.

A tiered platter featured Smoked Salmon, Prosciutto and Mortadella on top and Croissants, Brioche with their house-smoked butter and their house-made jams on the bottom.

Scrambled Eggs made with dashi was divine

We were then served some delicious home made granola and vanilla yogurt.

Cappuccino for me and a Matcha latte for Lawrence to finish.

Such a memorable experience in Tokyo.
