Feast of Fields at UBC Farm

Chef Shayan (right) and crew from Chop & Chew

It has been one of my favourite food events each year for many years and after a hiatus Feast of Fields returned earlier this month for its 27th Annual Harvest festival at UBC Farm.

I tasted my way around the multiple tents enjoying the food and drink, while seeing many foodie friends.

These are some of the highlights:

Gol Gappe by the JW Marriott Vancouver team at Parq Vancouver along with their beautiful table presentation and delicious easy to eat bites. Pulled Pork Tacos by Chop and Chew Restaurant (shown above).

Eggplant Quinoa bites by Jamjar Canteen

Tasty and refreshing non-alcoholic Paloma and Mule beverages by local beverage producer Ednas Cocktails.

Chef Marc of Whiskey Six BBQ

Smoked pork sliders by Whiskey Six BBQ

Peach pie by Gabi and Jules Pies.

Filled and square chocolates by the Drunken Chocolatier

Chevre Cream on spelt honey graham Cracker with blackcurrant gel from Noisette by Olivia. @noisettebyolivia

Pineapple coconut macaron by Kizzys Macarons

Cucumber G&T by Long Table Distillery

Sweet Corn & Blueberry Swirl ice cream from Earnest Ice Cream

Probiotic Water Kefir by Kindred Cultures

This was my tenth visit to Feast of Fields, see last the last Feast here. This wonderful annual event is organized byFarm Folk City Folk and is their annual fundraiser.

I am already looking forward to attending next year’s event.
