Known for their delicious Ukrainian food including their fresh and frozen Ukrainian Perogies, Cabbage Rolls & Borscht, Fried Kolbassa, Pelmeni along with cakes and more. Everything is home-made in their Burnaby and Port Moody stores.
Over the past month I cooked up a selection of their Ukrainian dishes at home including fresh and frozen Ukrainian Perogies, Cabbage Rolls & Borscht, Fried Kolbassa, and Pelmeni.
Everything is home-made in their Burnaby and Port Moody stores. These days as many of us are balancing restaurant and home meals, here is a great way to enjoy some authentic Ukrainian food at home, just pickup some of their frozen items when you have a chance and keep on hand in the freezer for those days you don’t have time to go out.
The chicken pelmeni was very good and made for a great dinner with a salad.
Loved their vegetarian borscht which was made with red beets, this is a traditional Ukranian soup and each package has 2 servings.
For another dinner I enjoyed some potato cheese perogies with a cabbage roll and fried kolbassa.
For many of the frozen bags of perogies, each bag features multiple servings. This was the 3 cheese mini and it was another favourite.
They also feature a selection of fresh and frozen baked goods, here are a couple slices of their tasty poppy seed roll.
Check out their website here for hours of each of their stores in Burnaby and Port Moody along with their contact details and products available.
