In this ongoing series I will be featuring all sorts of patio dining experiences from small restaurants with one table on their patio, to large restaurants with multiple tables on the patio, to hidden patios, and ones with unique patio configurations that have been created during the covid19 pandemic.
Here is one of the patio dining meals that I have experienced recently.
Patio Dining at Field House Brewing Co.
Enjoyed a delicious lunch on the outside patio recently sharing a selection of dishes with Lawrence. This restaurant features an open-air covered patio in front of the brewery and restaurant with several picnic tables that are distanced and rail seating for solo or couple diners.
We both enjoyed some refreshing beverages to start, I had a Ginger Ale while Lawrence had a a Kombucha.
We shared the delicious Warm Pretzel + Mustard – Oldhand knotted beer pretzel made with Dutch Pale Ale; along with the Farm Fresh Salad – FH Farms’ seasonal greens, snap peas, cherry tomatoes + radishes. Dressed with olive oil + a lemon honey vinaigrette.
The Spicy Mac N’ Cheese was rich and tasty with Creamy local Gruyerè + Emmental w/ house-pickled jalapeno + a baked Magpie’s rye crumb.
We each had our own Grilled Cheese with Gruyère and Emmental between sourdough and a beautiful tomato soup on the side.
Field House Brewing Co. is located at 2281 W Railway Street in Abbotsford. Patio reservations are suggested by calling them at (604) 776-2739.
