Sharing the space, this plant-based tea shop and bakery are offering items that complement each other in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood.

Whisk Premium Matcha is owned by Kimmy and her company has been wholesaling their Matcha tea across North America to cafes. They have now opened this café to showcase their matcha tea and other products. Level V Bakery is owned by Monica Tang a local baker who features her plant-based cakes, pastries, and desserts.

The bright cheery cafe offers table seating for two, as well has a small patio with outside seating.

You will find a selection of plant-based treats including croissants, cupcakes, cookies, macarons, pineapple buns, mochi muffins, and cakes by Level V Bakery in the café along with a selection of hot and cold drinks featuring matcha, hojicha, smoothies, coffees and others.

I tried their refreshing Iced Matcha Strawberry Latte and a Matcha Croissant, while my friend Kenji tried an Iced Matcha Latte and a Cupcake.
