Bars and restaurants across Vancouver will stand proud and pledge their support to the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation from now through August 6 by taking part in the inaugural Pride Crawl Fundraiser to generate financial support for the Dr. Peter Centre in the city’s West End.
Amber Bruce, Bartender at The Keefer has created The Ladyboy one of the creative cocktail creations in this Pride Cocktail Crawl made with Forty Creek Canadian Whisky, lemon, ginger, banana liqueur, and a housemaid black sake liqueur. Served over pebble ice with ornate garnishes. You can get this one as a single serving for $12 or as a punch bowl for four people for $44 ($1 per cocktail donation).
There are over 45 establishments offering a variety of signature Pride-themed cocktails in this Pride Crawl Fundraiser that also aims to raise awareness of HIV and show support for the LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Queer, Two-Spirited) community, which comprises the majority of persons who receive care at the Dr. Peter Centre.
