Last night, I attended the opening party Meinhardt’s new grocery store and deli located in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

Michael Meinhardt is the General Manager of this new 3,200 sq ft grocery store and prepared food bar.

I enjoyed some tasty eats that included a Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi and a Tofu Banh Mi, a selection of pastas and coleslaw as well as their popular carrot cake.

Customers will find a similar mix of freshly prepared foods as their original store in south Granville along with a rotating hot bars, a specialty sandwich bar featuring a different sandwich creation each month, as well as a salad bar. On the sweet side, there will be fresh in-house baked goods and desserts. There is also a grocery side featuring their popular Meinhardt private label collection of foods as well as a fresh and frozen goods area.
