A few nights ago I attended a book launch party for Rosie Daykin, Author of “Butter Baked Goods” published by Random House. Rosie Daykin opened her first bakery on Dunbar Street in Vancouver in 2007 and this year she expanded her empire to include a second and larger location on Mackenzie Street which houses her bakery operation.
Invited guests mingled over appetizers from The Lazy Gourmet who catered the event, sipped on wine and enjoyed some of Butter Bakery’s famous cupcakes, sandwich cookies and other treats.
More than 100 recipes for homemade treats and childhood favorites—old time classics, rich in nostalgic flavors, that you will want to make time and time again.
Butter Baked Goods: Nostalgic Recipes from a Little Neighborhood Bakery is now available at bookstores throughout North America and beyond. You can follow Butter Bakery Cafe on twitter @ButterBakedCafe
