Blue Water Cafe & Raw Bar hosted the 3rd annual Red Cross Red Carpet Soiree on May 6th benefiting the Lower Mainland Disaster Management Program. Blue Water Cafe provided a full selection of their highly acclaimed cuisine—seafood towers, sushi and passed canapés—from two of Vancouver’s leading chefs: Executive Chef Frank Pabst and internationally-recognized Raw Bar Chef Yoshihiro Tabo.
I enjoyed the Soiree even more this year than last year and the food was absolutely delicious. The wine donated by Vincor was being poured all night long and people enjoyed the Inniskillin and Sumac Ridge whites and reds, and cocktails were served up to guests upon entering. This years silent auction had an exetensive selection of items from around the region all donated, with money raised going to support the Canadian Red Cross and their programs.
Great tunes by DJ Ocean at Blue Water Cafe, I met lots of wonderful people at this Soiree and look forward to returning again next year.
