Afternoon Tea is an art and should be an extraordinary experience one that you will cherish. Vancouver has some wonderful places for you to indulge in an Afternoon Tea experience. Each of the places is unique in what they offer along with the type of service and selection of sandwiches, pastries and desserts. I am on a journey around the city to find these extraordinary places.
This tea service is a wonderful way to celebrate the festive season that is on now through to January 6 at Holt’s Cafe inside Holt Renfrew.
Fashion meets Afternoon Tea this holiday season and I enjoyed experiencing the Apertivo with Giorgio Armani Afternoon Tea with Lawrence.
First off you get to choose from a selection of Sloan Tea from their special tea box and I had the Oolong Creme while Lawrence had the Heavenly Cream. Next you get to decide which of the plates of offerings you wish to start off with first, from the Savouries, Scones and Desserts.
My favourites from the Savouries were the Blini with smoked salmon, Mushroom Arancini and the Tarte with red pepper tapenade.
The Panescone were perfect for the festive season served with amaretto chantilly and berry preserve.
My favourites from the Desserts were the Pistachio Macaron, Tiramisu parfait and the Truffle with white chocolate limoncello.
The Festive Afternoons Tea at Holt’s Cafe is available daily through to January 6. Reservations are now available and can be made by phone to the cafe located downtown on the 2nd floor of Holt Renfrew.
