First Taste of Bamboo World Kitchen

Specializing in healthy eats, they have a wide variety of salads, bowls, wraps, smoothies, soups, all day dim sum, desserts with health and zero waste in mind. This is the first location for this locally based company, with another soon to open on Broadway/Heather.

Beautifully designed the café is bright with chopstick tables and highlights; the café was built by Pacific Solutions Contracting.

I visited to try some dishes recently.

I loved the Hanoi Bowl that was filled with cod which I added, marinated rice noodles, fresh mint & basil, pickled carrot, cucumber, bean sprouts, Romaine lettuce, spiced cashews, peanut sauce, and their Sweet Chili Sauce; this was very tasty and one of their most popular bowls.

The Bamboo Gyoza was very tasty, it is a traditional Japanese vegetarian dumpling that is steamed, comes with their citrus soy sauce

The Rancheros salad was also tasty  with chicken that I added, romaine lettuce, pinto beans, tomato salsa, avocado purée, corn, shredded cheddar cheese, tortilla chips, cilantro, fresh lime, and their Vegan ranch dressing.

The Vegan Coconut Panna Cotta, topped with cherry compote and toasted coconut was a delightful, guilt free treat.

Bamboo World Kitchen is located at 2690 Granville Street in the South Granville neighbourhood of Vancouver, you can follow them on Instagram @bambooworldkitchen
