I visited for brunch recently with my friend Lawrence to enjoy some delicious Mumbai style street food dishes.
Irani Bun Maska Pav filled with whipped butter to dip in hot chai, this was a great interactive experience of dunking each cube of the bun into the chai.
Chai Biscuit plate (V) chai served assorted cookies
Pohe – loved this popular Mumbai dish served in a bowl with flattened rice flakes, turmeric, green chilies, roasted peanuts, potato, shredded coconut and cilantro
Vada Pav – aka Indian Burger, a tasty burger with a fried potato patty, tamarind chutney, mint chutney, served in a pav (bun) with a side of coconut peanut chutney
Spicy Chicken Benny – sago patty, spiced chicken, poached eggs, chili lime hollandaise, avocado chutney and fruits
Desi Pancake (VE) crispy Mumbai style sweet pancake topped with fruits and ice cream; one of my favourites of the brunch offerings.
