Specializing in the Lanzhou style of noodles pulling long noodles is quite the art, here master chef makes the dough and hand pulls the noodles in its various sizes and shapes in minutes. Chef Irene who grew up in Lanzhou which is the capitol city in the Gansu province of NW China. Although the noodle soups and other noodle dishes are the mainstay, you will also find other Chinese favourites which includes rice and vegetable dishes, appetizers and snacks.
Enjoy some of their complementary Daisy Tea to open up your taste buds before enjoying your meal. On the menu, they offer a variety of cold dishes and snacks to complement the meal, I chose one of their cold dishes as a starter, the healthy Seaweed Salad.
I have visited a couple of times recently, loved the Chicken Noodle Soup with a delicious broth, lean chicken, broccoli, spinach and house-made hand-pulled long noodles; I also loved the No.3 Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup made with triangle shape noodles, with chili oil in the beef broth.
For the soups, you choose the desired thickness or shape of the noodles, then watch master chef make the noodles in the open kitchen in minutes if not seconds.
