After my last visit to Phantom Creek Estates a couple of years ago it was a must that I revisit to learn about their winery and award-winning wines.
We were welcomed with a beautiful Sparkling Brut in the tasting room before embarking on the extensive private tour. From here we were taken to the History Room where we learned more about the historic vineyards on the Black Sage Bench, the Golden Mile, and the Similkameen Valley. This tour is a must for anyone with an appreciation for wine and history, and here we learned about their commitment to biodynamic farming.
We walked through the vineyard learning about their vines, growing cycles, clones, new growth vines and more.
Back inside the winery were learned more about their wine making from traditional to modern using their state of the art technologies. The cellar was extraordinary, here you will find the founders cellar and one round table that is the spot for many private dinners. We also toured their barrel rooms for reds and whites along with the fermentation, bottling and more.
We then tasted several wines during our private dinner in the restaurant.
