I recently took part in the art of Neapolitan pizza making with master chef Giuseppe Cortinovis based on the official style of AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana).
The newly launched Pizza Lab is located in Port Coquitlam at Jan K. Overweel and is offering classes to the public featuring many different styles of pizza. Each class is 3 hours and you will learn the entire process of the specific style of pizza.
Chef Giuseppe taught us how to make the dough from scratch, shaping the pizza, adding the toppings and baking in the oven. After the baking process was finished we got to eat our own pizzas! We also got to take home some dough balls and other ingredients to be able to make our own pizzas at home.
