I recently experienced a fun and tasty tour of their production kitchen and workshop facility that opened a couple of years ago on Granville Island. I never knew that they added this new factory that is in addition to their retail shop in the public market until now after taking this tour.
They make or have made almost every imaginable flavour of macarons over the years and now they are making so much more; I saw some gingerbread houses in the building stages, along with mini macarons on the tray as well as gummy bears being dehydrated; they also make their own gelato for their macaron gelato sandwiches.
Bon Macaron is also known for the workshops they hold and now they have a large space to host their many public workshops as well as private team building and corporate workshops that people book. Check it out on their website if you want to set-up your own.
You can visit Bon Macaron Patisserie at 1244 Cartwright St Unit 4 in Vancouver, as well as on instagram @bonmacaronpatisserie
