Specializing in wood fired oven panini, owner and chef Joe has created a menu filled with a selection of meat and veggie panini; it’s Italian street food made Nonna’s way. Everything is made from scratch by them or sourced from local producers. The wood fired oven on the truck cooks upwards of 850 f degrees.

I visited and enjoyed some dishes recently.

I loved Nonno’s Giardino a delicious vegetarian panini with peperonata, eggplant, grilled zucchini, tomato, provolone cheese, & Nonna’s fig spread. I also loved Nonna’s Meatball Panino made with all veal meatballs slowly braised in Nonna’s tomato sauce, topped with provolone cheese and parmigiano cheese and this is the house favourite, it’s very good.

The Calabrese with sopressata, spicy capicollo, mild salami, arugula, tomato, Nonna’s fig spread, nduja, and provolone cheese; is one of the most flavourful panini in the lineup. I have also tried The Cugini with roasted Italian sausage and peperonata, I got mild, but I suggest you get hot.

You will also find more panini as well as some salads and other new menu items. Look for this food truck at breweries and whereever you see this truck serving up their delicious panini.
