Fox and Oak specializes in hand crafted, naturally leavened doughnuts and specialty coffees, they opened a few months ago in downtown Squamish.
Owned by husband and wife team, Luke (the coffee specialist) and Tessa (the pastry chef) have had years of experienced training in the both respective industries and wanted to combine their skills with their personal interest in creative work and connection with the community.
The cafe is nice and bright with an outside patio.
They feature a variety of naturally leavened brioche doughnuts on a rotating menu, including vegan and gluten-free options. The coffee selection includes lattes, cappuccinos, loose leaf teas and v60 pour overs. They are known as a multi-roaster, as they showcase different coffee roasters every two months.
I have tried a selection of their donuts and a coffee.
The Berliner– naturally leavened brioche, housemade raspberry jam
Coffee Glazed – naturally leavened brioche, coffee and espresso glazed
Earl Grey – vegan yeasted dough, earl grey glaze
Raspberry Fritter — naturally leavened brioche
Cortado made with roof top coffee roasters espresso.
