Thanksgiving dinner for two at home was the way to go this year, as with the ongoing covid pandemic, this year is quite different than years past. The Perfect Bite Catering offered up a Thanksgiving package this year feature a multiple course of dishes that you could pickup and then reheat in the comfort of your own home.
It was a delicious feast of dishes with leftovers for days!
Started the meal with the Confetti Greens in a vinaigrette topped with roasted cauliflower, cranberries and candied sunflower seeds.
Next we enjoyed the Roasted Turkey breast and confit Turkey leg with the Sage pan gravy and Cranberry sauce.
Loved the Maple Glazed Yams garnished with a pumpkin seed pesto; along with the Blistered Green Beans with a garnish of crispy onions and garlic; Mashed Potatoes with a herb oil drizzle; and the Caramelized Onion Bread Stuffing with cranberry, apricot and pumpkin seeds.
For dessert we enjoyed the Vanilla Pumpkin Pie.
Over the years I have attended many functions for family and friends which were catered by The Perfect Bite Catering. With all the challenges that this year has brought to many in the hospitality industry they had to pivot and put together a wonderful Thanksgiving menu which looked great. The instructions for finishing and heating the meal were easy to follow, and with minimal work, we had a feast of flavour to enjoy!
