Advice: No reservations, counter service.
Specializing in Thai food to go, this Bob Likes Thai Food offshoot is serving up the same great dishes they are known for in a more casual environment encouraging customers to order at the counter and take it all to go. If you wish to stay and eat they do offer some communal and smaller tables for seating.
I started off with a refreshing Thai Iced Tea to go along with an order of their tasty Chicken Satay marinated chicken on the skewer is then served with peanut sauce on the side; my friends and I also enjoyed the Green Papaya Salad a flavourful dish made with peanuts, tomatoes, garlic, chilis and fresh lime juice, along with the Deep Fried Tofu and their famous Pad Thai with rice noodles, chicken, tofu, peanuts, egg, bean sprouts and chives.
One of their newest dishes, the Kao Mun Gai was my favourite; it’s Thai comfort food, and the chicken is cooked in chicken broth and served over rice. We also tried the Kao hah moo (pulled pork with rice); and the Kana moo krob (crispy pork and rice).
The dessert selection is fairly minimal as the focus is on the savouries, so we finished the delicious Mango Sticky Rice.
The packaging of each dish is simple, wrapped in paper and its sustainable for minimal waste whether you are taking it home, or to the office.
