Advice: Counter service.
With it’s focus on not only crafting the best coffee beverages and featuring the top coffee roasters from around the world, they also have an equally creative menu of savoury dishes and sweets. I have made countless visits to this café since opening close to a year ago and each time I have tasted something new. Perhaps it was the coffee notes in one of their new coffee roaster offerings or a new pastry the chef has created.
These are some of the dishes that I have enjoyed which include the Avocado Sourdough Toast with smashed Avo, ricotta, cilantro and maple syrup was very good as was the Butternut Squash Soup.
I have had this Cappuccino made with La Cabra coffee from Denmark; as well as a Cortado with Pilot Coffee from Toronto, as well as a Nitro Cold Brew also made with Pilot Coffee.
The treats have always been exceptional as well, from the Pistachio Kougin to the indulgent Classic Chocolate Cashew Smoked Salt Cookie and most recently the incredible Coffee Bun.
Almost everthing is made in-house under the direction of Chef Jacob Deacon Evans and Pastry Chef Daniel Munoz, on the decor side of things it is a bright spot with a nice communal table for sharing. As with any restaurant or cafe it can take some time to get it’s groove, Nemesis now has this groove, and I look forward to more visits.
