Shaved ice is a popular frozen treat in Asia which is becoming popular locally, here this Taiwanese dessert café specializes in making a smooth shaved ice creation with various high quality tropical fruits. The café is fairly small, though it’s bright and cheerful. I had the popular Golden Dragon Fruit Snow Ice ($21) with milk snow ice, poppers, and golden dragon fruit that is silky smooth and the fruit is sweet, it is a bit on the pricey side for a shaved ice dessert though it’s the imported Equadorian dragon fruit at play. In addition to the shaved ice, they make their own 100% natural ice creams, I had the delicious Matcha ice cream ($7.49) which is served as 2 scoops in the bowl, the servers won’t let you mix flavours, I did ask, and was told you must choose only one flavour.

Pints of ice cream are offered for takeout as well are many of the fruits which you can purchase by the box, it’s almost like a high end produce market where the fruits are extraordinary in quality. This is a great place to go with a friend or two to enjoy some desserts together, just remember to go early to avoid a long wait.
