Last week I attended the 60th Anniversary party of Hy’s Canada, the cross Canada chain of Steakhouses, the media party was held at their Hy’s Hornby Restaurant. To mark the 60th anniversary of the company, they just completed a renovation and a new Cocktail bar upstairs on the 2nd floor of their Hornby Street location, unveiled to the media as we celebrated together.

The drinks of choice for the evening were their Rye Old Fashioned made by the bar team. A selection of appetizers were served including their famous Garlic Cheese Toast, delicious Lamb Chops, and caviar topped mini pancakes and more.

There is quite the history that began with Founder, Hy Aisenstat 60 years ago, these iconic steakhouses are not only located in Vancouver, you can find locations across Canada.
