A couple of weeks ago, I attended a fabulous beachside party for the launch of Stanley Park Brewing’s new Sunsetter Summer Ale. This well-organized event took place in the heart of English Bay just above the beach on a beautiful summer night.

There were food stations throughout with catering by Railtown Caters featuring tacos, meat and vegetarian sliders, quinoa salad, sandwiches and other delicious eats. It was great to indulge with one of Hugo’s Churros Gelato Sandwiches for dessert. Of course we were all there for the beer, and the ale was all peach, summery with the addition of citra hops made it the perfect combination in this wheat focused ale, perfect with all the food served at this fun party.

There was great music with a live band, hip hop dancers, a live painter, great conversations with a fun crowd and a scenic back drop of the sun setting over English Bay.
