On May 31^st I attended this one of a kind of event that combined the best in local beer with in house BBQ meats along with other dishes at Darby’s Public House in Kitsilano.

It was a packed house inside the restaurant as well as on the upstairs hidden patio on a beautiful warm sunny day. Breweries from all over BC along with some home brewers and importers were pouring tasting glasses of beer.

Servers were passing around all sorts of tasty eats including Bison Sliders, Pulled Pork Sliders, Red Snapper Tacos, Mushroom Pesto Flatbread, St. Louis Style Ribs, Hallmark Chicken Wings, Veggie Sliders, Orange Hoisin marinated Skirt Steak Skewers and Avocado Tacos.

This sold out event was part of the Vancouver Craft Beer Week celebrations. Make sure you try and grab a ticket to this event next year before it sells out yet again..
