I recently toured the expansive Red Truck Beer Company brewery in the heart of what was once known as Historical Brewery Creek, just outside of Downtown Vancouver. The new Brewery features the Red Truck Stop Diner along with the Red Truck Retail Store. Owned by Mark James and run by Sam Payne who started with the company in 2005, Sam toured me around this state of the art brewery.
Planning ahead the operations at this brewery are in motion to allow for growth in to the future.
Many tanks line the room, along with a fully automated and only one of six of it’s kind bottling and canning lines in North America, filling 120 bottles per minute and 180 cans per minute.
They also have their kegging operation running at full steam ahead.
Their is a packaging area for each of the products, cold storage and shipping.
They have also opened the Red Truck Diner Truckstop that features a full tasting bar of their beers on tap with an exciting offering of comfort food eats daily. One of the most unique sinks in a restaurant/brewery is located right here. Watch for the concert series featuring a wide range of bands performing in the parking lot for up to 1200 guests during the summer months.
Red Truck Brewery and Truckstop Diner is located at 295 East 1st Avenue in East Vancouver, you can follow them on twitter @RedTruckBeer
